Diabetic Retinopathy Symposium

Diabetic retinopathy is a serious complication of diabetes that can lead to vision loss and blindness. To raise awareness and share the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment, Dr Ameen Marashi, a renowned retina specialist from Syria, organized an online symposium on diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. The symposium featured experts from around the world who discussed topics such as laser therapy, anti-VEGF injections, vitreous hemorrhage, tractional retinal detachment, and macular edema. 

The symposium was a valuable opportunity for ophthalmologists, researchers, and patients to learn from each other and exchange ideas on how to prevent and manage diabetic eye disease
